Living in divisive times makes it's easy to forget the huge privilege it is to live in our great country –– an experiment in democracy that changed the world, and an experiment that is still being worked on to this day. It's not perfect, but I am nonetheless proud to be an American and believe we will rise to the challenges before us from global issues to the local budget. Keep it up. (read more)

Tuolumne County needs leadership that listens and a long-term plan. I'm tired of us treading water when we should be thriving and I believe we can do better.

In facing COVID, the County is setting a lot of "you can't" standards –– and for generally good reasons –– but we don't see a lot of "you can" solutions being offered up and it makes me wonder, is innovation and flexibility something we really should be expecting of our elected leaders?
